Do you want to teach and not just baby sit?
Do you want to be a teacher and not just another faceless body?
Do you want to help decide what is best for the students and not just be told what to do?
Do you want to be trained and not just given a book and shown to the classroom?
Do you want to have your own apartment and be able to walk to work?
Do you REALLY want to teach students how to use English as a language?
Yes to these questions means that you may be the person we are looking for.
We have locations in Jeonju City with other locations in Inchon. The hagwons have been in business for over ten years. They teach elementary, middle school and high school students. Class sizes vary between nine and eighteen. Materials include a core set of text books augmented by dozens of reference books, games and story books. We believe in teaching basics. What good is it to finish a book if the students can’t use the words properly?
We pay the return airfare from where you are to Korea.
We pay the rent on a furnished apartment.
We pay half the cost of medical insurance.
We pay between 2.1 and 2.3 million won per month [depending upon experience]
We observe all national holidays and pay you too.
We teach five days a week from Monday to Friday. There is no weekend teaching, and there are no split shifts.
We even provide all the tea you can drink at work.
You MUST HAVE a degree and passport from an English speaking country [ mandatory]. Two sets of transcripts that must be in a sealed envelope from the university, passport size photos, a clean bill of health. you MUST ALSO HAVE or be able to get a CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK that must have an APOSTILE.
You also need a true desire to want to help the students learn to use English as a language. If you bring the desire and the enthusiasm we will help, train and guide you so that the experience here will be one that you will never forget.
Start dates are IMMEDIATE, July 15th, August and through to December. It takes anywhere from six weeks up to process the paperwork so think about the timing.
Qualifications:
MUST have a minimum of a Bachelors from an ENGLISH speaking country.
