Society | Ages 17-23: Generation Phone
Somewhere some marketing genius hound has added to a long line of generational nicknames with “1723,” which stands for, ahem, 17-23 year olds in Korea.
In the U.S. we went from the “Greatest Generation” of WWII to the Boomers to Generation X to the mercurial Millenials/Gen Y/Gen 911/Generation ADHD. As for Korea, we have the notable ”386″ generation and…now another number-based generation!
How to distinguish this particular generation of youngsters? Well, look at their cellphones. Is it me, or is there a strong fascination/identification with cookies and cream? And what does it mean? Maybe this is obvious.
