Hagwons in New York? Yes, New York

And true to form, the hagwon’s name is called Elite.  Modeled after the cram school system common to South Korea, China and Japan, the Elite Academy functions as a test preparation boot camp for 11-year olds who want to ace the Hunter College High School Exam.  It also provides well-rounded curriculum for a variety of subjects.  

Well, we’ve seen the jjimjilbang do well and we all know Pinkberry took off.  Why not hagwons, right?
