Many of us see Christmas as a time for family at home, so this time can be especially hard for those of used to lots of yuletide cheer.   To get an espresso-style dose of Christmas in Korea, visit any one of the three local amusement parks with their pastiche of Hallmark-style interpretations of Christmas!

Here are the 3 amusement parks which are all currently decked out in Christmas decorations, fireworks, blinking lights, and lovely activities (photo ops!):

  1. Seoulland (Gwacheon) – For further information, call 02-509-6000 (Seoulland is located near Seoul Grand Park subway station on line 4 (the blue line), south of Seoul, in Gyeonggi Province).
  2. Lotte World (Jamsil) – For further information, call 02-411-2000 (Lotte World is located above Jamsil subway station, on Seoul’s line 2 – the green line).
  3. Everland (Yongin) – 40 mins. drive outside Seoul easily accessible by bus.  Check with your local bus terminal on directions to Yongin.
