Had No Idea They Are Called Bendy Buses
In a cost saving measure the Seoul City Government has decided to discontinue operating the “bendy bus” in its public transportation fleet.
Purchased at the cost of a Maybach (without optional stock ticker)–at nearly $380,000 a piece if you have to ask–the twenty 18-meter long articulated buses frequently got into accidents and then sat unrepaired while costly parts were imported.
Expect to see these sad bendies join their brethren at airport tarmacs and perhaps at the local amusement park near you.
The Brits seem to be in agreement on this one.
