National Debt Clock Out of Digits

10 October 2008 979 views 0 Comments

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. National Debt Clock, a prominently displayed national debt tracker in New York run by the Durst Organization, has run out of digits.

For the time being they have deleted the digital dollar sign and inserted a one to display the correct figure. Two more digit placeholders are in the works.  The way things are going they may want to buy a third digit just to be safe.
